Terms of service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Gemma Bishop London website and services. By using our website or purchasing our products, you agree to these Terms in full. If you do not agree, please do not use our site or services.

1. Overview

This website is operated by Gemma Bishop London (“we”, “us”, “our”). Throughout these Terms, references to “Service” include the website, tools, products, and services available through our platform.

Any new features or tools added to the Service will also be subject to these Terms. It is your responsibility to review these Terms periodically for updates.

2. Eligibility

By using our site, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old or have the consent of a parent/guardian if under 18. You agree to comply with all applicable UK laws when using our Service.

3. Returns & Refunds

  • Please review our Returns Policy for full details. Key points:

    • Standard returns for online orders are accepted within 14 days of receipt, unless the item is bespoke/custom.

    • Bespoke or personalised items are non-refundable, unless they are faulty or damaged. Any fault or damage to the items must be reported within one week of delivery.

    • Items must be returned in their original condition to be eligible for a refund.

    • Refunds are processed to the original payment method once items are received and inspected.

    • We reserve the right to refuse returns that do not meet these conditions.

4. Shipping & Delivery

  • We ship domestically and internationally. Shipping costs, delivery times, and any customs duties or taxes are outlined at checkout.

  • While we aim to deliver on time, Gemma Bishop London is not liable for delays caused by postal services, customs, or events beyond our control.

  • Risk of loss passes to you upon dispatch of goods.

5. Custom / Bespoke Orders

  • All bespoke or commissioned products are made to your specifications and are non-returnable and non-refundable, except in the case of a proven manufacturing defect.

  • A manufacturing defect is a fault in materials or workmanship that affects the intended use of the product, such as broken seams or faulty stitching. Minor variations in colour, pattern, or shape due to bespoke production or fabric characteristics are not considered defects.

  • By placing a bespoke order, you confirm that you have reviewed and approved your design brief.

  • Any minor adjustments must be requested within one week of delivery. Minor adjustments may include, but are not limited to:

    • Cushion filling adjustments (for comfort or shape)

    • Minor repositioning or alignment of trims, piping, or buttons

    • Small adjustments to stitching tension or finishing touches

    • Correcting minor surface creases or settling in fabrics

  • These adjustments are limited to minor refinements and do not cover major redesigns or changes to the original specifications.

  • Delivery fees for bespoke interior orders are calculated individually once the order is confirmed, as the cost depends on the size of the items and the type of vehicle required for delivery.

6. Prices & Orders

  • All prices are listed in British Pounds Sterling (£ GBP) and include VAT.

  • Prices are correct at the time of publication, but we reserve the right to correct errors or adjust prices. You will be informed of any price changes before completing your order.
